Help! Reservations seem impossible to get for Nov 2015

Funny! Today's my 180 +10 window, and I was so worried after reading this thread. Got everything we wanted (including BOG, Ohana) except for a Via Napoli dinner. Hoping this has to do with tables for Candlelight Processional, and thinking they'll release more.

I guess the "everything we wanted" is key here. For some reason, it seems like the ADRs for HS are the hardest to get right now. And this being our first big trip, I was really hoping for an H&V character meal. Mickey and co. will always be popular. But the Disney Jr. crowd will only appeal to my kids for so long. That's really the only one I wanted that I didn't get, other than BOG, but not really disappointed in that.

I wonder if Disney is holding back certain days at H&V for unannounced specials? (like Star Wars, or holiday premium packages for the Osborne Lights)

It's not just H&V. When I search for an ADR (which I do many times per day), there is nothing for HS open basically during the entire week we are there. I was fortunate to grab a Sci-Fi (not the day I wanted, however) and a 50's Prime Time, but I'd gladly trade the latter (and most likely the former) for a H&V.

I just looked at the last available day of thanksgiving week, and there are a few dinners (party of 5) at Park Fare, an Akershus, a Chef Mickey. Not the best times, but available. That is what I expected the week before to look like. I was hoping some Akershus dinners to open up when the Biergarten glitch was fixed and they didn't.

My week is Mid-November and it is nearly impossible to get any ADR and I just need a table for 2. I was super excited to get a Sci-fi for Nov. 16 even though the time isn't the best (3:05pm). Since I nabbed that reservation, I haven't seen anything pop up for sci-fi. I'm contemplating using one of those websites that will search for ADRs for you but I really don't want to spend money on that so I just keep stalking the website.

While there are certain restaurants I want to eat at, I'm not going to let whether I get an ADR or not ruin my vacation. I'll keep trying for what I want but on Nov. 15, I'll be heading to Disney World with a big smile on my face regardless of what ADRs I have at that time.

Question for everyone - I was able to get a reservation for 4 for CRT, but would love to have it be 6 (so dad and brother can come). Anyone know if disney ever accommodates 1 or 2 more people upon checking in?

My family has been successful in adding to our party upon walk in at the castle. Definitely ask at the check in podium.

I booked the same week back in 2010 (week prior to t-giving) less than 5 months out and had NO problem getting everything I wanted including 3 character meals. I managed to miss my 180 day mark by just a few days ("last minute" decision to go) and can't find ANYTHING. What on earth is going on!?!?! I'm wondering if I should plan to go first week in December instead?
