Hi all, so I will be going to WDW using my DVC for the first time in December! Our visit will be 10-days with Epcot on the 5th Day.

We really want to land reservations at Space 220 but we also understand it's a hot ticket so it may not be possible.

Can anyone tell me if I understand the ADR process correctly?

  • Starting at 6AM Eastern, 60-Days prior to the first day of my trip, I can start making ADRs, correct?
  • And since I am staying for 10-days, I can make reservations for the length of my trip from the first day of my arrival?
  • And if so, do I have to make ADR for the first day in order to make another ADR for a future date?
  • And lastly... since my Epcot visit will be on the 5th day, what are the chances I will be able to get a reservation at Space 220 (Lunch/Dinner) since, if I understand this correctly, I am able to reserve 4 days ahead of someone who would just begin their 60-day window?

I do already have park reservations for Epcot for the day I want. I'm just really hoping that a 4-5 Day head start will be sufficient to land a rez.

Thank you!

Yes to 60 days prior. Book ADRs in order of priority. If Space 220 is top priority for you, book that one first at 6am. You do not have to book in chronological order.

Have the app on your phone ready for booking ADRs in case there is a glitch with the website (which is often). Screen shot each reservation confirmation.

I Start checking at 5:30 am, they’ll sometimes allow you to start a bit early (like 5:45 or so). Do the hardest to get ones first, in order of how hard they are to book. Sounds like that’d be space 220 for you. Good luck!

While you have a 4-5 day head start on your Epcot day, there will be many people with trips longer than yours who will book before you. If you follow the suggestions given here and make your top priority your first search, you should be able to book something… but you may need to be flexible on your times… or switch your Epcot day to later in your trip.

Good luck!

Copy all, thank you! I'm hoping 5-days advance will be enough for S220 but we'll see. Gonna be hard to move that toward the end of the trip since I'm picking that day in particular for Epcot because of the (likely but not confirmed) EE hours for that day.

We'd be only to reserve up to 10 days from date of arrival, right? If someone starts trip on Nov 15, they can't reserve something for Nov 30... they would have to wait until Nov 20 to book for the 30th?

Thanks all for your replies!

You would have to get on there daily to do day by day adrs after the 10 days were done. So day ll would be the day after your adr day, day 12 the day after that etc
