Help Renting Vacation points

I've never rented DVC points and would like to learn how to do it. Anyone willing to help? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million!

Go to the rent trade forum and rent all the stickeys. They may help you understand the process overall but each individual DVC owners will tend to have their own way of dealing with payments, cancellations, contracts, and other little things. Overall it is a great value for the renter, you get into a large room in a deluxe resort for the price of a regular room at a moderate. After reading the stickey ask more direct questions so they are easily answered. Good Luck

Thank you so much. I'm new to this site but not to Disney World. My family and I visit atleast twice a year and recently took the DVC tour. We wanted to rent and see how we like it before we actually purchase. Thanks again, I appreciate your response.

Actually, even though it is the rent board you can just read the stickeys.. you don't have to rent them.

A little while back DVC Mike put together a nice do's & dont's list for renting. Trying to find it by search is futile. I suggest you PM DVC Mike and ask him for a link or copy of the document.

If you haven't done this before... click on the words Private Messages near the top right corner of the screen. Then click on send message at the left of the screen. Then just address it to DVC Mike. Type your message and send.
