Help, renting strollers in Disney for the week!!!

OK, the wife just threw me another curve ball, instead of bringing a single stroller for our 5 and 2 year old, she would now like to rent a stroller from Disney.

She had heard that because we have the Park Hopper passes that we can actually rent strollers for the whole week and if we go from one park to another, we can easily pick up another stroller at that park as well.

Has anyone done this? My fear is we will leave Animal Kingdom and head to MGM and they won't have any strollers available.

* We are only renting one stroller, but she insist we can rent it weekly and pick them up from park to park as we choose.

Here is the link about stroller rental on the WDW website. know that you can get the strollers at different parks per day. You just have to show your receipt at the next park. HTH

We rented a double stroller every day of our trip (July 2005). It was the week of the 4th of July and we never had a problem with parks being out of strollers, even after we hopped to another park. It was so convenient for us.

We get them at the park and hop to other parks and get them there too. Get a double stroller too. Your 5 y.o. (and your shoulders) will thank you!

Edited to add that having a park stroller allows you to leave it at the train stop and pick another up at the next stop. Very simple. AND when all the CM move the strollers, they all look the same. Make certain to bring some identifier like a ribbon.

Yes you can and it is cheaper to rent for several days. Also I agree with the other poster. Get a double stroller, then your 5 yr old can ride when they need to. You'll be surprised how much she'll want to use it.
