Help regarding rehire status

Hello!

I was a CP in the Spring session of '13 and I finished my program on good terms. I had some points for calling in, but (to my knowledge) that shouldn't be a concern. Anyway, I recently applied for an internship through Radio Disney and received an email shortly after saying "Our records indicate that you are a former employee of an affiliated company of The Walt Disney Company and you are not eligible for rehire. Because of this, we cannot consider you further for employment opportunities."

I am baffled as to what could have happened. How do I recheck my rehire status? Would attendance points really be enough to set me at a 'no rehire' status? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!

call 407-828-1000. that's the wdw jobline.

earlier this year in another forum, i saw some people say they were given no rehires because they didn't turn all of their stuff in to costuming when they left (or didn't make sure it was scanned when they did).

Ok, thank you. I tried calling and I'm not sure which branch my question falls into. If I am under no rehire, how do I appeal that? I'm not even concerned about the internship at this point, but I am planning on reapplying to the College Program in the fall of '15.

branch of the phone menu maze? not sure. maybe just press "0" and see what happens.

you could probably just get to someone who would be able to transfer you to the proper group if they aren't it.

as for how to appeal, they would be able to tell you how to go about that.
