Help quick! DB flying out today !

My brother is scheduled to fly international today from Newark (NJ) airport. I am quite sure it's closed / delayed / cancelled...etc, but I cannot get through to anyone online or through the phone. Airline website just say "numerous delays".

Does anyone have real time info on the EWR airport? And if it's cancelled today, do you know if we have to pay extra to fly tomorrow?

and even www.weather.com tho a lot of their stuff is directly related to the airline's info.

Just so you know, last year I flew overseas out of JFK in a blizzard with 18" on the ground and we left "ontime", so what I am saying is that there may not be a delay or cancelation. Keep checking though. Good luck and a safe trip for him.

So, if the flight is not cancelled, but I cannot get him to the airport today, what would happen? Do I have to pay extra tomorrow to send him off?

No car service would pick him up.

If the flight is on and he can't make it to the airport more than likely you will have to pay for another flight, you may be able to change it for fee but it's not guaranteed, all you can do is call the airline and ask.

Thanks everyone. The latest is that the physical plane cannot get to EWR from Boston. That (the first leg) was cancelled. So I guess my bro's one will be cancelled if there is no plane to fly. Either way even if it's not, I don't want him to drive / fly in this condition.

Just hoping he doesn't have to pay too much to get back home.
