Help! Pre Vacation SoG annual pass purchase.

I have decided to buy the annual pass prior to our visit so I can get the DDE card for the 20% discount. Can I get it from SoG prior to our trip? Will they accept a phone order with a copy of the ID or current pay record faxed? I was able to buy show tickets from the Hale Koa prior to arrival. If not, I will have to order from Disney. I have called. Can't get a person to answer the phone.

Finally, someone answered the phone. No, no advance purchase of tickets. I guess I will be coughing up $35 more. Oh well. With regard to the DDE they were considering having a quicker turnaround time for the card instead of the 4 to 6 weeks now required. They know there will be a change in policy, they just haven't determined how so it wouldn't be good for me to wait until I get there.

when we got our ap, we already had the dde...but that was b4 they quit emailing the temp card. it is my understanding that they will fax it to your hotel. It was worth it for us bc we used it on 2 7 day trips this year.

I just got off of the phone with DDE. She said that because the policy is undecided at this point, that she will provide me with a letter to be waiting for me entitling me to the DDE discount after I buy my AP voucher at SoG. It may be only $35 but it is my $35. She was wonderful. She gave me her name, her direct number and is putting 'me' in her calandar for the date of our arrival. Now that is Disney with a smile!!!
