Help...possible Surprise Trip!

We are thinking about taking the kids (ages 3&8) on a 4 day "surprise" trip to Disney in a few weeks. This is very spur of the moment and very "unplanned". Can anyone give any insight as to what to expect crowd wise the 2nd week of March. I have no clue when spring break starts for most people. My kids have been so wonderful lately and all they have talked about is wanting to go to Disney. I would love to take them for a few days and let them enjoy themselves. We would stay off-site so hotels would not be an issue. I am just concerned about crowd levels in the parks. Any input would be appreciated!!

I think it's going to be really really busy. That is March Break for most school's in Canada. My sister's going that week and is expecting to spend most of her time in line. It'll still be fun though. Just be prepared.

Our high school baseball team is going for spring break to some tournament. Any time there is a sporting tournament it is crowded. This happened to us on one of our trips during the slow times.

Are you just going to Disney or will you be touring the other parks also?

Mid-March is usually WDW highest attendance dates due to Spring Break.
Busiest days are usually Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

Epcot is having the International Flower and Garden show starting
March 19th.

Okay...thank you to those who replied about the Canadian spring break in March!! What would I do without the DIS???? We are still going to take our boys on the surprise trip. We have decided to go May 6th - 11th. How are these dates? Is there anything going on during this time that I should be aware of? I searched these dates and didn't see anything but....I seached the other dates and didn't see anthing then either!! Again, thank you to all that replied! You made planning this trip sooo much easier! We want this trip to be special. We don't mind dealing with some crowds...hey..it IS Disney World! But, we want the wait time to be as minimal as possible.
