Hey Girls-
When we went in and met with our Sales Manager last December, we secured a dessert party for Wishes and IllumiNations. She had some questions as to whether or not IllumiNations would be a go due to park capacity limits, etc. Well, it isn't and we got bumped to the Wishes party at the Grand Floridian. Fine and dandy. We were told it was a comprable alternative.
I was really shocked last night when the posts started coming up about the music not being piped in unless request and even then it was an additional charge. Ok, we've got that fixed.
The other thing we noticed was our inclement weather back-up. This is the kicker. If we gt moved indoors, we are being moved inside to Salon 8 at the Grand Floridian. We have no windows, no nothing for entertainment . . . except, "background music," as our EM says. Yeah. That's not going to fly. I'm not paying that much money to have dessert in a ballroom. I can go to an icecream stand at the Marketplace and have a better time.
What would you do? We're considering rebooking at the Cali Grill or Narcoossee's (I am sure that's not spelled right!) at a time when we can see the fireworks instead and doing a full dinner? Would you leave it and cross your fingers? We're down to crunch time becuase we've got to have all the updates and counts for the BEO for the 17th (must be signed and returned for the 27th).. and she's out of the office until Thursday.
I am absolutely at my wits end on this.
