I made reservations for myself, DW, DS (12), and DD (7) for September for 7 nights (free dining) at POP.

Now, DD (14) will be coming with us as her other planned trip fell through. Obviously, the reservation at POP is a problem as there will be five of us now.

Questions:

1. Two rooms at POP or move to a hotel that allows 5 people?

2. I booked this trip at WDW website. How do I go about changing everything? Do I call WDW?

3. Will DD be eligible for free dining if she is added to our reservation?

4. Can a reservation be upgraded to include two rooms at POP, or do I need to create a new reservation?

Any help, insight, knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I would certainly call Disney and ask. We just recently changed from the POP to CSR during free dining. We were able to add another night's stay and get free dining for that extra night as well. We are working through MFL so the TA took care of it for us. She did state that sometimes she has to make more than one call so don't give up!

Call Disney. I just tried to change 3 of my 8-night stay for another resort, and they told me I would loose my "free dining" for those 3 days since they need to make a new reservation and the free dining period is off. So of course I didn't change it... free dining rocks!

Most likely, the extra person will not have this free dining, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

The change to our reservation was after the free dining promotion ended. We were still able to make the changes and keep free dining, adding an extra night also with free dining. Never hurts to ask.

Just an update in case anyone else encounters a similar situation:
-added dd to reservation and still got free dining
-added another room at pop to reservation as there are now 5 of us
-cm said we will get adjoining rooms
-ordered the 5th MNSSHP ticket
********
YES! :cool1:

Now, to see if a 5th person will mess up ADR's :wave2:

MyWorld: Call back. Adjoining rooms are just rooms that are next to or near each other. You need to ascertain that you will get connecting rooms.

Thanks for the heads up. I will call back. However, at this point, I would be ok with adjoining rooms too.

Now...if one room is in 1950's and the other is in 1990's... :sad2:
