Help please visiting in Nov from UK!

Hi everyone,
I've been reading your boards for a while now and I coming to disney from the UK in November this year but I've got a couple of questions to ask if anyone can help me? Firstly I'm staying at the all star movies resort and am not hiring a car so have read about the i-ride trollley, is this the best way to get to universal and if so what do I do/ where do i go? Think the I-Ride trolley does go up that far yes although you may have a bit of a walk from the stop to the actual park entrances.

Your main problem is actually that I drive (and the trolley) is nowhere near your hotel so depending on how you intend getting off Disney property in the first place it may work out easier (if not cheaper) to take that all the way there.

I always have a car so someone else may be able to help with alternative ways of moving around.

I think you would have to get the Disney transport from ASMO to the Disney Transportation Centre ( Magic Kingdom or Epcot bus) and then get the Lynx Bus to Universal. I had a car so not done it myself but somebody will put you right soon.

We used the Mears bus to get to Universal Studios. You phone the day before, Disney will put you through, and arrange a pick up time at your resort. You phone again when you`re at Universal to arrange a return time.
It costs $12 each.
It took us about 1 hour to get there, as they do pick up at other resorts and drop off at Seaworld, however the journey back was only 20 mins, much better.
If there`s a few of you have you considered ordering a towncar? I think they are around $70 return.
We`re going back in Nov, have a great time.

We are also going in November and staying at the all stars movies resort, we are going to use mears taxi company when we visit Seaworld etc.

when we checked it out before we decided to get a taxi as we thought it would be cheaper than paying for 4 people on Mears, but we decided to hire a car when we got to the airport.

We will be at the ASMo between 19/10 until 9/11 hope the weather will be kind to us and the crowds are not to bad.
