Could anyone recommend which one bedroom room number they like at BCV?

I would like:
1. a good view of the Epcot fireworks,
2. not in too noisy of a location
3. not horribly far from the main building.

Or, if you have a 1 bdrm you love for another reason, tell me!

Likewise, if there is one I should definitely stay away from, let me know!

Thanks!

I've never stayed in a 1 BR at BCV, but I do have a map here (who's got a link to the website with this info?). I wonder if rooms ending in -20 or -29 would fit those requests? I think -03 area is quiet and close to the elevators to main building, but it isn't going to give any view of Illuminations.

Don't specifically request a specific room. If that room is occupied, the room assigner will have no idea about what you want. Give them floor, smoking/non, handicapped/non, pool/water, garden, etc instead.

You used to be able to request top floor, Epcot fireworks view.... They will now not let you specify that....

But if you specify top floor, Epedition Everest view, that should be the same direction etc for the fireworks....

Please be aware, you will only be able to see the top fireworks, which means the finale. The spaceship earth etc you will not be able to see...

If you really want to get to the bottom of this, call BCV, and ask to speak to the room coordinator. THey should be able to advise you.

Good luck, Goldi

I've only stayed at BCV once but I think what you are requesting is contradicting. The rooms with a view of the fireworks are also closest to the road (noise) and the farthest from the Beach Club.

That would be correct :thumbsup2

To the OP you will have to decide what you want, Quiet, possible fireworks view, or close to the Main building. All three does not exist at this location.

Also requests are simply that, no guarantees on any of it.

Perhaps I am confused, but I don't think you can see Expedition Everest from BCV, and I think AK is in the opposite direction as Epcot when you are looking out from BCV???

I too am trying to figure out how you could possibly see Expedition Everest from BCV! ????? It is a LONG ways away.

I agree EE is to the SW of BCV and Epcot to the East.

I disagree though that the best views of Illuminations are the farthest away from BC. We've had rooms in a number of areas on that side of BCV and been able to see Illuminations from each one. There was a thread about this the other day. Apparently one arm with room numbers starting around 33, doesn't have a good view. Otherwise it varies. I agree that the rooms in the 20's might fit your requests but you would want 20 odds.

Thanks everyone. I was just trying to get a feel for what rooms people like at BCV. I know that OKW people have strong opnions on where they want and do not want to stay. I was hoping to get that kind of feedback about BCV to help me when I check in on Saturday. Thanks for your input! Anybody else? :wave2:

The BCV was built in what was the parking lot and tennis courts, so in my opinion no great views here. The nicest in my opinion are of the pool.

at OKW I think it is more about location within the resort than views, as all the views there are very nice and somewhat similar.
