Determined to finally try & see Hoop De Doo in Dec:)

 re transport to & fro though...

Wanted to book 1st or 2nd show after visiting MK

Typically, we do drive & park @ MK, yet im thinking it'd might just be easier to take the bus that AM to park, then the boat over to FW (and there would be no issue of having a few drinks & driving!)

Just hate the thought of having to double back to MK, then catch a bus. Im wondering if they do have direct bus transport directly back to resorts after all the shows (believe i read somewhere in review they have it after last show of night). We'll be @ POR.

*anybody know for sure?

*any suggestions how long to allow to reach FW? (i was thinking of arriving @ boat ramp 1 hour prior?)

1 hour should do it. They want you there early so they can take a picture (and sell it to you). Pioneer Hall is less than a 5 minute walk from the dock.

They will have direct transportation back to the resorts for at least the second and third shows. Well, I don't know if they will all be direct, but you won't have to transfer at a theme park. The first show may be a little different, but I'm pretty sure they will have something there for you so you don't have to ride internal FW transportation.

We last went in December, and when we came out of the show, the buses to the resorts were waiting to return guests to their rooms.

thank for the info:thumbsup2

any confirmation as to buses (direct/shared, etc.) for specifically the early show?popcorn::

No buses for the early show(unless the MK is COMPLETELY closed) There are buses after the 7 and 9 shows, they are shared though since it is unlikely that one bus would be filled by guests of just one resort, so it would not be cost effective to have a bus for each resort.

thanx for the info:thumbsup2

the night im considering, the MK closes @ 7 pm (although it'll be open for MVMCP) so im not sure if that would be considered technically closed or not:confused:when the 1st show would be over (2 hours?).

according to this info i found on frommer's site

Show times are 5, 7:15, and 9:30pm daily (the show lasts about 2 hr.).

The tiered pricing system now in place means that the closer you are to the action, the higher the price you'll pay to enjoy it. Tier 1 seats are located on the first floor nearest the stage, tier 2 seats in the back half of the first floor and in the center of the balcony, tier 3 seats to the right and left sides on the balcony level. There's not a bad seat in the house, so don't feel the need to splurge.

which leads me to another Q or 2 lol: does it really matter if i book tier 2 or 3? Im thinking tier 3 might be better for view & fact that rest of family is rather shy types?

Since it is a MVMCP night, transportation will still be running to/from the MK for party goers. There will still be buses after the 2 last shows regardless. The difference between tier 2 and 3 is a personal preference. My mother is short, under 5 ft) and would much rather sit in the balcony, however we will usually reserve 2 and request the balcony, that way we get the seats at the back rather than the side.
