HELP PLEASE ! How to kill houseflies?

The flooring guys were here all day and left the door open and now I have flies in my house

How can I get rid of them?

I use a fly flapper. Just wait till those little suckers land and squash!

If you don't have a fly flapper a rolled up newspaper will work in a pinch!

A fly swatter works well. Or in a pinch, a rolled up newspaper.

try a damp towel. you can whip the towel forward faster than you can swing a newspaper.

or: darken the room except for one open window or door, they may fly toward the light.

these are so gross, but one of those fly strips will kill lots of flies quickly. Just hang it up where they are and they will fly into it. It will kill them in just a few minutes.

This is one of the few valuable (?) skills I actually have. I RARELY miss a fly with a fly swatter. My kids are amazed and embarrassed at the same time!

Get a bottle of extra hold hairspray, mist those buggers when they fly by. They'll hit the ground like a rock and you have 3 seconds to whap them.
