How old will the children be in March?

You'd need 2 rooms then, as maximum standard occupancy in onsite hotels is 4 persons. Thats going to bump up the price quite a lot.

I can't get onto the official Disney site either at work, but if no-one can get you a quote at the moment, I can do it after I get home, at around 4pm?

I know some of the onsite hotels have family rooms (definitely NPB and DLH) that sleep up to 5.

Maybe Cheyenne and SF have those too?

Someone should be able to know that, I know nothing about CH or SF though I'm afraid...:(

I can only get quotes from Expedia but they would give you a rough guide for now.

Santa Fe is £354.92 without tickets or £791.24 with tickets
Cheyenne is £853.12 with tickets

Hi Snowprincess,

Okay, I've got the quotes from the Disney site.
As I thought, it wouldn't let me book all 5 of you into one room, so doing it as 2 separate bookings, in 2 rooms, it comes up as a total price of £490 for the Santa Fe for your dates, and a total of £546 for the Cheyenne.

All your kids stay and play free, so your are in effect only paying for one adult per room, £245 per adult in the Santa Fe, £273 per adult in the Cheyenne.

If you phone to book rather than doing it online, it can be done in one booking, but you'll still be paying for 2 rooms. You can also, when you book over the phone, choose to pay only 10% when you book, and the balance 60 days before your travel date.

Hope this helps,

Wow. That's just over £300 difference from Expedia than booking direct with Disney!!!!! Now that is a saving and = loads more spending money

Omg thank you so much for this, im suprised about how cheap its all working out 2 be!! if we travel by coach its £184 per adult and £109 per child and the extra £45 to upgrade to SL for adults, im in between the fence in what to do!! i want to just book now and go now!! :dance3:

Thanks Again!

If it were me, because theres such a small difference in price, I'd then be looking at how convenient the different methods of travel are, and most importantly, how long you will actually get in the parks travelling the 2 different ways.

My local airport is only 20 minutes drive away, and I am at the gates of DLRP within 5 hours of leaving my house. An early morning flight gets me to the Magic by 11am first day, and an evening return flight means I don't have to leave DLRP until 5pm on my 3rd day. So although I only get 2 nights in my hotel, I get almost 3 full days in the parks.

The closest airport 2 me would be cardiff but i find the flights from there are very expensive so previously we flew from bristol with easy jet, although would love to travel via the eurostar :-)

Hi All, thanks for your all your replies, ive made up my mind and will be coming in March sometime
via coach, its going to be £208 for adults and £109 for children in the SL, That's leaving sunday morn
arrving park evening then all day mon & tues in park and leaving to travel home on the Wed, this
includes all tickets and breakfast.

So next question lol, how much spending money etc will i need, what parades or on, fireworks, etc?
Many Thanks

:goodvibes Cool.

There will be no fireworks in late March, but I believe the 15th anniversary celebrations may still be ongoing (they finish in March sometime).

The new Stars n Cars event in the Studios (replaces the old Studios parade which finished March 08) is scheduled to be up and running in March 09 (don't know the date yet though). And Playhouse Disney in the Studios will have started by the time you are there.

Midweek, the parks will likely be open until 6 or 7pm. You may get morning EMH on one or more of your park days too.

Thanks Capn - I really had no idea when the 15th anniversary stuff ended.

That's cool. It was in a press release a few weeks ago. I made a note of it becuase I don't think that Candelabration is on in the evenings over the Halloween period and the wife and I really wanted to see it before the end of the celebrations.

I can't imagine that there wouldn't be Candleabration every evening at park close during Hallowee season - its on every single other night of the year during 15th anniversary :goodvibes .

I really do hope that it is on. Would be a shame for it to have been on for roughly two years and for me to have missed every single one of them!
