Help! Please! Appreciation ideas! (non Disney related)

I apologize for this thread as I realize that it is not Disney related, but I need your help!
This is the last year that I am going to see my band director. He means the world to me and I know that without him, I would be a very different person. He has molded me in so many ways and I have no idea how I am going to manage without him. My best friend and I want to show him just how much we appreciate him. We want to do something absolutely HUGE, but also manageable. I was wondering if you had any ideas. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Well, considering this is a Disney thread, maybe put together a Disney songs medley for the band to play. You'd tell everybody in your band to practice and not tell him, and have it at a concert that is already scheduled.

Well, what does he like? Beside music?

Um... he likes his family, people, happiness (which is too general) he likes old school things (like from when he was a kid and he's probably 40-ish), music related things (especially music related jokes), art, travel, coffee. That's all I can really think of at the moment.

That sounds like a great idea! Thanks! I also know that he really enjoys ties, so maybe I could find him a music tie somewhere for in it too.
