Help, please. 2 night room only/7 night FD package advice

I'm just looking for some info & guidance. I originally booked 7 nights at Pop for late Oct/early Nov with a free dining package w/ tickets. I found I could arrive a day or 2 early due to my work schedule. I tried adding the days to my existing reservation but Pop was full by then (PS: so many operators are ill-informed/unfriendly these days!). So I just booked a 2 night room only stay also at Pop in hopes we won't have to switch rooms. I've been to WDW every year for the past 4 years on site but I've never dealt with this situation. So I'm wondering...with the new Magic Bands I can use the same bands throughout the whole stay, correct? I know you previously could use any tickets before your first night's stay if you visited a ticket booth. Is this still true with the MBs? I would like to go to MK our first full day before the package starts. Finally, is there anything else I need to be aware of? When we went in May last year we got to test the RFID cards in some parks but the MBs seem to have changed the game a little and I want to be sure we are prepared. Thanks!

Magic Bands are interchangeable and you can still pick up your package tickets 3 days early. There's no notable difference between an RFID card and MB aside from the fact that one's a card, the other a bracelet.

The Magic Bands are interchangeable (I used three different MBs on my last trip, I picked whichever one matched my outfit that day).

You can still pick up your package tickets early at guest relations. The only issue is you won't be able to make FP+ reservations for those first two days in advance. You'll have to wait until you've picked up your tickets to make those.
