Help! Planning first Universal trip!

Hey there everyone, I'm usually on the disney side of the boards here but the wife and I are trying to plan our first Universal/Islands of Adventure trip, we're going in Feb and are planning 2-3 days in the park. So we're trying to plan the best we can, pretty much a park a day however I have a few questions.

1) When planning things out, we were thinking of also hitting up sea world. So is sea world a part of the universal family? Do they offer a ticket package that includes, Universal, IoA, and Sea World?


2) We're planning to stay on site, to save a bit of cash but what would be the best ticket package for us? There is only two of us going, we're just gonna do the two parks, possibly three whether or not sea world is a part of it. We're really looking to save as much money as we can.

I think thats the only two questions I have at the moment really. So any help would be much obliged.

Sea World is NOT part of the Universal family of theme parks. Not directly, at least. A 14-day Flex Ticket can be purchased, and that will include several parks as you can see here: http://www.seaworld.com/tickets/visitors.aspx
