Just after some expert advice for our upcoming trip

We have purchased 5 day park Hopper tickets, with 1 early entry/magic morning included and we have also purchased Character Breakfast vouchers.

This will be the first trip for me, DD8 & DD6, DH has been once for one day in 1994 :)

We are flying into LAX on Sunday 9/7 and flying out on Sat 9/13.

Sooooooooooooo what would you do? What days would you do the Parks? What day would you do the Character Breakfast & which one? What day would you do MM? etc

Any advice welcome popcorn::

What time do you arrive and what time do you leave? Also where are you staying?

If I were you I'd upgrade my 5 day park hopper to 7 day. This will allow you enough flexibility to go to the park every day of your trip. For example your first day you will probably be in your hotel room and unpacked by 6pm. How fun would it be to be able to hop into Disneyland and eat dinner at the Blue Bayou without having to worry about using one of your 5 days. Also say you spend a day shopping outside DLR, you could sneak into the sark at the end of your day and catch the fireworks. Also, a 7 day hopper i only $10 more than a 5 day hopper. If you didn't already buy them get them from getawaytoday.com so you can get 2MM days! :thumbsup2

I agree to get the extra day or two park hoppers.

Definitely do the Fireworks on Sunday night when you get in. (It will be dark during the week, leaving only Friday night (& what if the weather is bad on Fri. ?)

I recommend doing the MM the first available day (which would be Tue).

Have a great time visiting Walt's Park. :thumbsup2

For whatever reason, it always seemed as though Monday was almost as busy as the weekend. A CM explained to us that some people stay through Monday and the week slows down until Friday. When we have gone into the parks on Tuesday-Thursday, the parks have been very quiet. Of course, this is during September, our trip this year will be in December. I would probably go to DCA on Monday, and stop into DL after DCA closes just to get a feel for it. DL should be less crowded on Tuesday and you could spend most of your time there that day. Of course, depending on the crowds and a park hopper, you may be able to come and go as you please. It usually doesn't take all day to see most of DCA, of course that is dependent on the crowds. September in my opinion is one of the best times to be there. Crowds are light and wait times are minimal. Most of all, have fun! You are on vacation!:banana:

I was thinking that doing MM on the Tuesday would be the best idea, thankyou :)

:) thankyou. There are a few things closed while we are there, but considering everything will be new to us I think we will still be overwhelmed & very busy :woohoo:

Make sure that you have a chance to read some of the DL tour books available. They are a great help and give you an idea of the layout and areas of the parks. Again, September is a great time to go. The crowds are usually light and the weather is usually perfect.

I have the Unofficial guide, it's been very helpful :)
I'm looking forward to checking out the September weather!!!
