Hi DISers.

I am a veteran when it comes to the Disneyland Resort and have been to WDW Resort 10 times in my life. However, this my first time at the WDW Resort with Fastpass+. I can use some help deciding which park to see on what day and what Fastpass+ to get on those dates.

Dates:
Arriving early morning on 9/22 and leaving at 3pm on 9/26
Hotel:
1bdr Saratoga Springs
Guests:
Just 2 me and my wife

What we definitely want to do on this trip:
Magic Kingdom: New Fantasyland and Be Our Guest restaurant. Is BOG better for dinner or lunch? Do not care much about Mickeys Halloween event unless it can help get me on more attractions
Animal Kingdom: We have the Trek scheduled for the morning of 9/23, but I can change it if needed.
Typhoon Lagoon: My wife and I loved this place and want to visit it again
Disney Studios: Want to do the Prime Time Cafe, but we can do a half day here.
Epcot: Want to do the Food and Wine and the new Test Track
Others things: I would like to do a water activity like mini boats and visit Downtown Disney especially the bowling location.

Thank you for your help,
Brian

Honestly, I think you're trying to pack too much into just 41/2 days. I mean, you could do one major park each of the first four days, but that leaves less than one full day for TL, DTD and a water activity.

It definitely is a lot to pack into a short trip. But here is one possible idea:

Party days tend to be less crowded because they close early. So, the only party day would be the 23rd. If you get there at rope drop, you could easily get everything done by 7 pm, especially if your main focus is New Fantasyland. Get FP+ for the new Mine Train and Enchanted Tales with Belle, if you want to do that. Little Mermaid normally doesnt have that long of a wait at RD and later on. Since it closes at 7, you could go to EPCOT for F&W dinner or DTD that night.

The water parks are going to be less crowded at the beginning of the week. So you could go there first thing on the 22nd, and then make FP for HS for later in the day and eating at 50s for dinner.

And then a day at AK and a full day at EPCOT. And since AK normally closes early you could go back to DTD that day.

And then I would do the mini boats the day you leave, or as break on your full day at Epcot. You could take the monorail and then rent them from a resort on Bay Lake (probably the best location to get them from) or just walk to an Epcot area resort and rent them there.

That's just what I would do!

The TREK is really great even for the price. My wife says its probably one of the favorite things she did for our honeymoon last year.

I agree that you may be trying to do too many things with too little time, but everyone tours differently. If you don't care much about hitting most of the rides in the parks then I would try a plan like this:

9/22: Epcot--enjoy F&W, etc.
9/23: AK--do the trek, and then spend a day in the park. Go to Downtown Disney that evening for the bowling you mentioned.
9/24: MK--you really need at least one full day here
9/25: Typhoon Lagoon/MK--hit the water park during the day, and then eat dinner at BOG and spend the rest of the evening there
9/26: HS--eat at the Prime Time Diner before you go.

It's a super busy schedule, but it looks like it can be done.

Doesn't matter which BOG experience is better as dinner is fully booked that week, maybe a miracle res opens open (Been checking that week daily for a month, still nothing), but I'd focus on following the BOG FP+ thread in the Dinner Reservations forum more to see if your dates become available for lunch.

Hi brian! This is my opinion:

Don't listen to crowd predictions I never have and I always go to parks with EMH to maximize my vacation so I would suggest you do the same with having a short trip.

The Halloween party is a great time and one of my favorite things. you will have less wait times and the fireworks are amazing i would consider it. plus you would have 2 times to be in mk then.

I would do this:
9/22 typhoon lagoon then Hollywood Studios ( only open till 730 though :/)
9/23 AK/ downtown disney at night or halloween party
9/24 Epcot theres EMH till 11
9/25 MK EMH in the morning
9/26 Back to Hollywood studios before you leave

If you do the halloween party i would do downtown disney after studios the first night.. I am not sure how much you would enjoy it there anyway with how much construction is going on

for the water activity I would either leave it out this trip or just do studios from 9-12 and then the activity around 1 before you leave.

I think this is the best way to maximize your vacation. Hope this helps!

Some great info... thanks to everyone and keep it coming.

I know 4 1/2 days isn't to much. However, we are splitting are time this year with more Universal and SeaWorld/Discovery Cove. 6 1/2 days there.

I forgot to add that see everything at a particular park isn't that important on this trip. The last time we came was two years ago, so seeing things that are new, and doing things we enjoyed previously are more important this time.

So park hopping is doable, its just that this Fastpass+ plus addition seems to be a bit of hassle for this trip.
