Okay we were at WDW this past April and we are going again next April and I am starting to plan already.........I am a planning freak. DD who is 4.5 and will be 5.5 when we go next loved ALL the character meals that we had last time (I think I had too many though) and I just want to know what all you experts think I should do this time. Did I miss a good one? Did I do a breakfast where I should have done a dinner? We don't like to stop and sit down for lunch b/c there is so much to do during the day so I am just looking for Breakfast and Dinner suggestions. Okay here is what we did this past April:
Cinderella's Gala Feast - Dinner - we really enjoyed this and we may do it again
Chef Mickey - Dinner - really did not enjoy the food but the character interaction was good but I really don't want to go there again for dinner
CRT - Breakfast - loved it, loved it and may do it again. Is there a difference at breakfast and at dinner?????
Crystal Palace - Breakfast - it was the best breakfast and we will be doing it again
Hollywood and Vine - Breakfast - terrible, terrible - will never do it again
Ohana's Lilo & Stitch - Breakfast - good b/c we stayed at the POLY so it was close, good character interaction, food just blah, not sure if we should do it again
Princess Storybook - Breakfast - good character interaction, food just blah, not sure if we will do it again, is dinner better?

Okay now I will take all and any suggestions.
Thanks
:cheer2:

Also.....is there any rumors of any new character meals starting up for next year? I had heard some talk a while ago!
Thanks

I've read a thread on here that says at the Gala Feast at GF, the mice and fairy Godmother will be replaced with the stepsisters and stepmother when the refurb is complete.

Cape May/Goofys Beach Bash is awesome, the food is delish and if you go early the place is empty. What is cuter than Minnie, Chip, Dale and Goofy in their bathing suits?

They characters spend a lot of time with you, they ask you questions and play games with you by writing on the paper tablecloths and they come around to visit many times.

Chef Mickey's has a wonderful breakfast! We loved our breakfast there. We're trying dinner for the first time in October, but the menu doesn't strike me to be as good as the breakfast menu.

I went to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and it was pretty good food. The interaction was great as well. Garden Grill was probably one of our favorite character meals overall. I would highly recommend it.
I'm disappointed that you did not like Hollywood and Vine. I have ADR breakfast there and was looking forward to eating there and seeing the characters, since they are pretty hard to spot. Also, if I knew the stepsisters were at Gala Fest for sure in December I would so want to go! Does anyone know for sure?

We have never had breakfast at Hollywood and Vine, but the dinner food was terrible the last time we were there and they kept running out of things and took forever to replenish.

We've done the Crystal Palace breakfast and LOVED IT - we'll be doing again in February! We've also added Ohana breakfast and Chef Mickey's breakfast to our upcoming trip!

Yes, this is what I was told, too.
This is why we're thinking about cancelling and trying another place. My 2 yr old dd is not a fan of the stepmother ;) We were disappointed that it won't be the fairy godmother anymore.

We did Princess Storybook for dinner in April and it was one of our best meals. DH had the meatball things and thought they were also. I had the cod. It was very mild but with the horseradish potatoes it was very good and dessert was amazing!
We did Hollywood and Vine for the first seating for lunch. There was still some breakfast food out which DD5 really liked. I thought the lunch menu was very good and a nice variety.
We did lunch at CRT and really enjoyed it. I had the domos and loved it. The apps were very nice as well.
Have a great trip!

We always do Chef Mickey's breakfast--it is good food, and a quick ride over to the MK. We also do the Princess LUNCH at Norway. (I know you don't want a lunch, but I don't have any dinner experience) We do this since World Showcase is just opening and then we eat & are able to do all the countries after lunch. Plus, I can change my DD out of her outfit into shorts to enjoy the rest of the day. I've always wanted to do Garden Grill and we're doing CP on our trip in 2 weeks. Can't wait!:goodvibes
