help-- pixie dust as party favors

I am planning a princess b-day party for my neighbor and thought that it would be fun to give each of the guests pixie dust (glitter) as a party favor. My problem is that I have no idea what to put the glitter in. I was thinking about getting a bunch of perfume samples to put it in, but I don't know if I could get the scent out even if I wash them really well. Also, I'm concerned that it would be hard for the guests to open the bottles. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks!!!!!!

I would check a craft store like Michael's or ACMoore for bottles. They might be in miniatures, general crafts, with the dried flowers, or wedding. Most of that kind of bottle will have a cork top that should be fairly easy to open.

Just a thought - while I know your intentions are great - I would just about be xcreaming at my DD if she would open any container of pixie dust - in the car or in the house. It has the potential to make a huge mess. I throw stuff like that out immediately - otherwise I end up cleaning it up.

Maybe you could get them some glittery make-up stuff or glittery lotions etc instead.

I found small plastic bottles at Hobby Lobby for this purpose. They were about 25 cents each. I ended up not doing it though!!!
