Princess in Oz is wondering where to stay for Universal.

Because we love polls, here is one just for her. No need for a comment, let's get her a room

we love royal pacific, and are going there on our return journey this year... but i understand that we may be in the minority based on your poll votes

Good heavens, I created the poll and I forgot to start off the voting! How remiss of me I voted for the same place we'll be staying at which is the same place Alicia stayed at and is going back to '*** that's how I roll

but....if i had to put in my 2 cents worth, i do like the look of pacific one.... that's where we'll be staying in 2015....i do enjoy a poly theme....and i think its the cheapest as well......so double score!

I have to admit that Royal Pacific has one massive advantage that the others don't....Emeril's!

we ate at all the restaurants at RPR, and emerils is really, really lovely.

the whole ambience is lovely but their food is just divine. really flavourful and really well presented, lovely tastes and combinations

I have to admit that Royal Pacific has one massive advantage that the others don't....Emeril's!

We have booked into the Portofino Bay Resort for 3 nights in December.
As the rooms have king sized beds & slightly larger than the other resorts.
All three look great tho & I am most certainly planning on dining @ Emeril's
Only question is which Emeril's to eat at ? He also has a restaurant @ Citywalk.
Decisions, decisions.

Emeril Lagasse is one of the celebrity chefs on the Food Network. He cooks fusion Creole style. He had two restaurants in the UO region.....one at CityWalk (Emeril's) and the other at RPH (Tchoup Chop). Both are meant to offer good food.


I watch Top Chef USA and love his commentary and his style.

the thing i loved about rpr is that their room service menu is actually a conglomeration of dishes pulled from the various restaurants..

the burgers & sandwiches are all from jake's american restaurant, there are dishes from the main islands dining room restaurant, and there are dishes from emerils.

when i got my room service, i got dumplings, my main teriyaki stir fry and my banana cream pie dessert all from emeril's, delivered to my room. emeril's food, in my pj's...
