Help picking the best day for my Universal day

Im trying to decide if I should go to Universal on Monday, May 25th or Tuesday, May 24th. Monday is Memorial Day. The the hours are longer on Monday and I’m assuming the crowds would also be higher and I’d do better to wait until Tuesday, but have no real frame of reference since I’ve never been to Universal in Hollywood before.

If you have the choice go Tuesday, the crowds will be much higher on a holiday.

That's what I'm thinking too. Plus, it may be a better day to do some sightseeing around the city on Monday with hopefully lower traffic volumes.
