Hi! We will be in WDW in January for 4 days (yes, it's short- most our WDW trips are as we are in FL to visit with family :)) and I'm nailing down our ressies because my booking window is in a week.

We are doing Akershus for dinner Thursday, Ohana for breakfast Friday, and Be Our Guest for DD2's birthday dinner on Sunday. Saturday is our AK day, and I'm trying to decide where to go for dinner. I was thinking maybe Park Fare for the Cinderella and family dinner because the characters sound fun, but the ambiance is very blah from the pictures. My other thought was Boma. We have never been to either. Any other ideas? It will be me, DH, DDthen5, DD2 (turning 3). They aren't picky eaters.

Also, is BOG the best option for a birthday meal? Currently, DD2 is not a huge fan of furry characters. I'll find out in August at DLR if that has changed, but she currently prefers face characters. We did Crystal Palace for her first birthday and she wouldn't get near Pooh. I was thinking it would be pretty, and she loves Belle, so I can tell her we are eating in Belle's castle, even though we won't see her (my DD4 said she would wear her Belle dress for her l little sister ;)).

I was going to suggest Boma. We love the food there and they have enough to satisfy even picky eaters. I can't comment on 1900 PF, we haven't been there in about 20 years.

BOG is a very hard ADR to get, even booking at your 180 day window. Many have had reports of having to book at the END of their 180+10 to get a table, with you only going for 4 days I'm not sure you'll be able to snag an ADR. I would at least try to get the ADR then cancel later if you decide against it.

Boma is great and you can explore the resort and view the animals.

Also at the Beach Club the Cape May Clambake my kids still ask to go there.. they love drawing on the paper lined tables.

another favorite of my kids Trex and Ragland Road .. downtown Disney

Thank you! I guess outside the parks is a little confusing. It's just what my brain was thinking. I'm leaning towards Boma.

I'm nervous now about BOG. I figured since we are going at the end if January, during the slow time, I would be able to get it but maybe not. :( Any ideas if I can't?

Also, maybe I should call and book a room? I'm in the 190 day window but January packages haven't opened up yet so I can't book rooms online. Should I call and book a room only so I can try for dining?
