We are going for 8 days the end of Jan. We will not have a car. I've been reading all over the net and I'm so confused as to where to stay. HELP ME!

There are 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 7,5,2).... Price isn't really an issue.... But I'm so confused! Do we stay in a Villa? Which resorts are best for kids? Good pool? Good transport? Is it necessary to stay on the monorail?

Any suggestions?????

Hello and welcome to Disboards! :cool1:

A 2 bedroom villa would be a great choice for you. Since your youngest is under 3, you could stay in a one bedroom. But if the cost is ok, I would go with a 2 bedroom. You will have a washer and dryer and full kitchen in either one.

You would also fit in a regular room at any resort, but the 2 bedroom villa would give you so much more room and 2 bathrooms.

As far as location, if you want to be near the MK, then the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge would be the best choice. You can take the boat to MK and the bus to the other parks. The pool there is very nice with a slide.

If a pool is a higher priority then being close to MK, then the Beach Club Villas would be great. Storm a Long Bay is the best pool at WDW. From there, you can take the boat to Epcot and MGM or walk. The bus runs to the other parks.

Have fun! :wave2:

I personally love being on the monorail. It is just so easy during nap time to jump on the monorail to get back to your room. You can see the castle from the poly. I like the poly, because you can do the monorail or boat to the magic kingdom. Also you can walk to ticket & trans to get to Epcot. Kona cafe is a good breakfast place, and being on the monorail you can go to the contemporary for Chef Mickeys, or to the GF for 1900 park fare. I know that is a good choice with a little one, whe probably wants to eat quickly. We are going in January also, I think we are going to try the Contemp. Just because we always do the poly. I think I will like to be able to walk from the Magic Kingdom. We like to stay in the Magic Kingdom late, so the trans lines get really long after park closing. So I think it will be nice just to walk back to the contemp from Magic Kingdom. Have a great trip.
