Help picking a park for July 4th!

We are hoping to take advantage of everyone being at EP or MK on July 4th. Trying to decide if HS or AK would be a better option this day. We definitely want to watch Fantasmic this trip (we always seem to miss it).

My thought was this may be a good evening for that?

AI would anticipate all parks will be busier that day. DHS is a great choice!!

I'll be there the 4th, my plan is to go to DHS in the morning and hop to AK for the evening. Last year I remember looking up wait times on the 4th, and Rise was between 10-30 minutes all day. I'm not anticipating that will happen again, but it seemed crazy how low the DHS crowds were.

I remember that too! Touring plans put it as a 1 retroactively for that day. That made me interested in picking that park on the 4th. I do think this year will be busier than last.

Last year we did Epcot & had a great time. Park was quiet for the morning. This year I made a ressie for MK & maybe hop to AK, but you have me thinking maybe I should go to HS instead.

I should add I don't stay for the fireworks so I am there for RD & probably leaving like 6-ish for home.

I will also be there on the 4th. Does MK do their 4th July fireworks on July 3rd and 4th? Trying to decided where to watch fireworks on the 4th either MK or Epcot. I currently have the MK dessert party for the 4th but thinking of canceling because I really don't want to be in the middle of the crowd.

I recall from the coverage last year that July 4 was the lowest crowd day of the century, ushering in an era when no one went to Disney anymore.

There is a special bonus fireworks show at Epcot, so it would seem logical that less people will be at Hollywood Studios.

As for crowds for the fireworks at MK, there will always be a huge crowd for that, so it may be hard to notice the difference between a "regular" giant crowd or a "big" holiday giant crowd.
