Hey guys. I am looking for a nice hotel within walking distance from the parks. Looking to spend around $100 dollars a night or less. Going to Disneyland in October. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The 3 I've stayed at and can recommend are Hojo's, Best Western Park Place Inn and Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites.

Desert Inn and Suites is often the cheapest unless you can get a good rate at Hojo's. BWPPI has an AAA discount and a few other discounts that might help reduce your rate.

Hojo's is the only "hotel" of the three. The other two are motels. Hojo's is free parking but no breakfast. The other two have free breakfast (basic pastries, cereal, fruit) but charge for parking.

We have found all to be very clean. BWPPI and DI&S are right at the crosswalk so a very short walk to the parks. Hojo's is about a 8-10 minute walk. I've read reviews saying the beds at DI&S are hard. I found them to be firmer than my mattress at home but not the least bit uncomfortable.

Theres quite a few other options around the park so I'm sure you'll get more rec's. Hope this helps a bit at least.

I'm a fan of Best Western Park Place Inn. It's right at the crosswalk, it's clean, and the beds are comfortable. The only issue we ever had with it was the wifi, but that was six years ago so I would hope that would have been resolved by now.

We like the Marriot Fairfield Inn. Within walking distance and very clean. You can usually find it on LMY for $93/night. It is the hotel that is 13.63 miles from the airport...they usually do not list the hotel names.

TravelZoo just posted a deal on the Red Lion Anaheim for $79/night including breakfast and parking through the end of the year. Check to see if your dates are available (mine weren't :sad2:); use promotion code TZO3.

We stayed at the Tropicanna Inn and enjoyed it. It was right across the street at less than 5 min. to the entrance.

We are looking at the Anabella Hotel in December, any thoughts on that?

I second this recommendation, while not fancy the FFI is consistently good. And at $93/night from lastminutetravel.com it's not a bad deal.

We used this promotion last year. Because we always rent a car and have PAPs (free M&F parking), we never walked to the park, but it looked to be maybe a 10-minute walk.

Decent breakfast buffet (head and shoulders above the motels) and the rooms were quite nice...recently renovated. Also more secure than the other suggestions, room key required to get to guest rooms in the auxiliary building.

This is not walkable IMO, we did it last weekend it took about 15 minutes. You can however walk to the Toy Story lot and use the free shuttle to get back and forth, that was easy peasy and I asked the CM's who work there prior to doing it and they said it was absolutely ok to do.

Anaheim Plaza Inn is under $100 a night, I won't pay more than $69 a night for it though.

I just tried to book the FFI, for Labor Day weekend, and it's sold out.
Make sure it say's "Available" and not "On Request....

It's a little more expensive but the Candy Cane Inn is a nice place to stay. It's within walking distance and it also has a free shuttle. They have a free breakfast also. I believe with the AAA discount I paid about $130. I was just there last week and I would totally stay there again. My wife is very picky about cleanliness and she thought it was great also.

If you have AAA you might try the Best Western Anaheim Inn. My mom and I just stayed there. It is across the street from the park. It is maybe a 10 min. walk to the parks. It was great and we payed 116 a night with AAA rates. They dont have breakfast. But parking is free and the staff were great. We were there the 3-6 and when we came back from the parks sat and sunday they had a male security guard at the front of the hotel watching for guests. When we go again we will say there.

We always stay at the Ramada Maingate and love it. Right across the street. Great rooms with flat screen tvs, jacuzzi tubs, free cont breakfast, great prices. Never stay anywhere else.:cool1:
