Ok - I am having a major issue picking a hotel. I chatted with Disneyland chat reservations and these were some options...
Camelott Inn & Suites
Carosel Inn & Aniheim Fairfield Inn
Aniheim Marriott Hotel
Sheritan Aniheim
&
Anibella

I read a bunch of Neg. about Anibella in the past but a lot of raves lately did they remodel or upgrade?

Here is my info
Family of 5
a 4 yr old , a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old (needs a crib)

Looking for somewhat nice, ability to get to Downtown Disney easily, has park transportation or a quick walk.
Cute for the kids as it is their first real trip :)
Thanks!

Have you considered the Candy Cane Inn or the Howard Johnsons? Both are very popular here on the boards.

HOJO's has a DIS discount and a themed pool within walking distance of the park. Candy Cane has free continental breakfast and a dedicated shuttle to and from the park.

HOJO's would be good with the closeness and theme pool (probably wont do much pool though)
And Cont. breakfast will save us some of our mealplan for more food :)
Wahhhh

It looks you're going at the end of August, early September. You may be surprised how a mid day break in the pool could be very refreshing for the little ones.

Sorry I can't help with the other places, never stayed in any of them.

HoJo.

Note: I just recently realized that the soon-to-open themed area is NOT a pool. They have a big "garden pool", but the pirate themed area is not a pool (other than a zero entry toddler wading pool), just a water play area.

It's a quick walk, it's a simple clean place.

Anabella's walk isn't horrible (and I really enjoyed our stay there), but you enter the parks through DTD, and I really don't like entering through DTD. My 4 year old gets a horrible case of the "I wants" and it's just annoying to hear that more than necessary, LOL.

;) I see your from Az too - I don't think the temp. will bother them. If anything maybe a hot tub for DH before bed :)

With the 1 year old in a pack 'n' play, I would think that you could fit five in a room. Others on this board have reportedly been able to sleep five in a room. Especially the deluxe rooms and up as they are a bit bigger.

Desert inn has lots of suites, of different sizes. We are staying there in October, in a "Parlor Suite". We need the 2 rooms, so my son will go to sleep. (He needs to be in a room alone).

I don't see desert inn as a good neighbor hotel. :(
I am wanting to book the whole package deal - Meal, tickets, room :)

az's heat sucks I am so planing on useing the pool at desert inn if not then lots of cold baths lol of carse in oct might not be to hot actuely should be perfect

We go swimming every weekend at the grandparent house and the kids are all Disney Last time we went when joey was 2 and tyler just born and we did all day for 2 days and didnt get the chance to do DCA so I think they will be all about staying at the park.

No AP here but if the HoJo's disc is 15 that would put us right at the price range we are looking for!
I'll try to google Desert Inn. Any Idea on the cost of getting the meal plan & tickets? I think if we do the fixed plans it is cheaper :confused3

I picked other, we really like staying at the Tropicana. Right across the street, nice pool/hot tub area. Rooms are clean, quiet, and they offer an "ok" breakfast (nothing special, but it worked for us).
