For the first time ever, I will be at Disney for my birthday! I'm not even a big birthday person, but this excites me more than it should.

We will most likely be at AK during the day, and going to MK that night for EMH and because it is the only night that week for Wishes.

I don't want to go to hither and yon just for an ADR, but definitely want TS. So, if you were me, where would you go? One thing - this is for 12 Oct so we are well past 180 days so hard to secure places are probably out.

I'd try to do an early-ish birthday dinner at Narcoossee's or Artist Point, then head over to MK for EMH.

I'm currently mulling over the same thing. I have so far, booked Tiffin's at AK. It was one of our best meals on our trip last month. My other option I'm toying with is Boathouse at DS.

I would do 4pm Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Plenty of time before to spend the first part of the day at AK. Plenty of time afterwards for MSEP, Celebrate the Magic & Wishes at MK. Great dinner & show, and they make a fuss over birthdays. Have a big breakfast & have a snack instead of lunch so that you'll be hungry at 4pm.

I hadn't even thought about Hoop Dee Doo! That may be a good choice since DH has never been there.

We are staying at AKL and have before, so Boma is somewhere we've been and will probably eat again on arrival day.

Thanks for the suggestions! I love getting other people's ideas.

Helloo birthday twin!! I did my birthday at Disney last year and we did Grand Floridian Cafe for my dinner on the day. It was SUCH a nice break from the park and hustle and bustle and should be no problem getting an ADR (we made it the day before or so, I originally had Tony's but wanted a birthday cocktail...)

To keep transportation to a minimum, I would go to Tiffins. Go to the Nomad Lounge and have a drink first - the drinks are SO good! Then enjoy a GREAT meal. It's truly one of the best signatures on property IMHO. Then head over to MK for the evening.

I'd go to Citricos f I had one restaurant to chose for a special meal. Or Narcoossee's. Or Flying Fish if its open. So many good choices.

If it were my birthday I'd go to Hoop dee doo, it's our must do, favorite show, we've done it every year for the last five. Such a fun show, it screams Disney and like a PP said they make a big to do about b days! :)

Happy early birthday! I'm doing the same this year, actually...decided on California Grill brunch and maybe something light for lunch if anything...then Narcoossees for dinner and back to Top of the World Lounge for fireworks.

If you're staying at AKL, I think Jiko would be lovely for a special dinner!

I did my birthday for the first time this year as well! I did BOG, (you never know, you may be able to snag a cancellation) but as a safety choice I agree with others about Hoop Dee Doo- very fun atmosphere for a birthday. Grand Floridian Cafe is another good choice if you're looking for something more quiet. All up to your preference. Happy early birthday!
