My sister is going to DLR next week for her 30th birthday and we are going to be giving her an envelope for each day in the park containing a gift (or two) to use/purchase in the park that day.

So far we have the following:

For Sure...
Hidden Mickey's Guide - Giving her before for the car ride
Disney Dollars - To purchase a Dole Whip outside of the Tiki Room
Several Pins to trade - She has never traded pins before!

Maybe...
Coins - To look at the flipbook machines on Main Street

But we have never been to DLR before, only Orlando. Does anyone have any more ideas for "Must Have" fun prizes and things to do/buy in the park? We are fine spending anywhere from $5 to $25 each prize.

Thank you so very much.

Quarters and pennies for the penny press machines

Buy a tigger tail from the sweet shop near Splash Mountain (Its marshmallows on a stick with carmel and orange chocolate on it to look like tigger)

Give her a disposable camera to take character pictures with her in each picture.

Have her stop at City Hall for her birthday button. She'll receive a special phone call from Goofy, she'll hear happy birthday a lot and at some restaurants, they may give her a free dessert.

Disposable rain poncho from the 99 cent store (or Target, Walmart, etc) to wear on Grizzly River Rapids in DCA or Splash Mountain at DL.

Disney character fruit snacks (Princess, Pirates of the Carribbean, Pooh, Mickey).

Mickey Mouse earrings or necklace.

How about $$$ for a balloon on your way out?? Great item to put into a scrapbook, along with the pressed pennies, and pictures.
I hope you guys have a great time!
:yay:

-Mickey ear hat...a must really! You can make custom ears in the hat shop in Toontown. Maybe make them "30th bday" ears.

- I know the World of Disney in DTD sells fun cheap charm bracelets. You can offer to buy the bracelet link and 3 charms or something

-Coupon good for one ride photo of her choice

-I agree about a Tigger Tail or some other treat from the bakery in that corner of the park

A quarter especially to get a fortune card from Esmeralda at the Penny Arcade!

What a fun idea!

How about a lanyard for her pins once she starts trading?

The Mickey Ears are essential.

How about a CD of the park music for the ride home (and happy memories any time you want). I think you can get it a lot of places in the park, but I know for sure that you can get it in the book and music store across from the Emporium on Main Street
