Help! Outside Photographers who Shoot inside Magic Kingdom?!

Go to Randy's website (chapmanphotography dot com) and take a look at the engagement gallery. You'll have to scroll through the mini pages on the right (there's a next button in the lower right corner to do this), but on one of those there is an engagement picture taken with the castle in the background on the far right, with trees and the lake and the couple. There's no sign of beach or sand in the photo at all. In this particular picture, the castle is blurred - I'm just pointing it out as an example of the kind of castle view you can get without having to be in the parks. It may not be exactly your inspiration photos, but I think you can get the same type of effect that you wanted, and that is not at all "beachy". Randy could definitely incorporate this kind of castle view with the mickey ears and other ideas you wanted from your inspiration shots.

ETA: He recently did a shoot that was at least partially at the contemporary. There's a stunning shot of one of the bridal party members outside overlooking the castle at night on his facebook. Something like that would look beautiful for what you were thinking about as well. Just scroll through his recent posts on FB..it was only posted a few days ago IIRC.

I am going to confirm with my contact at Disney, but I can tell you we have shot at Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Boardwalk Resort thus far, in clear view of CM's without incident and issues. Perhaps the Magic Kingdom has an exception to the newer relaxed policies, and I will confirm today for you. Otherwise, I know for certain you can shoot in the places listed because we have shot there already.

The other photographer had done shoots.in MK as well (also the other parks too). it seems this is something new in the last week or so. Resorts have never been a problem, and still aren't.

While not necessarily going to be the same expertise as a professional photographer, most of the Photopass people are smart enough that you can say "Can you do one more?" and drop to your knee, and they will just fire away. Or if you have a bag with you, when you drop it by them, mention it, or heck, find some way to get away for a minute, grab one and explain it, then bring her back over. Plenty of options.

We called Disney Fine Art Photography and its $1,700 for a one hour shoot inside Magic Kingdom.:sad2::eek::faint:
We are only going the two of us so we don't have someone in our party to shoot for us :/
I guess MM it is :confused3:confused:
I'll do it for $100 plus expenses... ;)

of course, I'll be staying concierge MK view in the CR and flying in first class...
