Help our magic bands all arrived grey

I was so disappointed when our magic bands arrived as they were all grey. I customized all 8 of them a few months back and even checked a month ago to make sure all was still set. What would cause this to happen? We are renting point through David's Vacation Club, would that have anything to do with it? Any chance Disney would replace at least my two young boys bands? They were so bummed they didn't get their colors. Thanks for any input!!

WDW screwed up. Which really sucks.

It's very possible, they fixed something like this for my SIL about 4 months ago. Hers weren't all grey but all the colors were given to the wrong people. I would be on the horn first thing tomorrow AM to get this straightened out.

I agree, turn it into a fun project. You can also use tattoos etc.

If you aren't able to get replacements before you leave for your trip, check at your resorts concierge desk. My wife lost hers one evening on our August trip, and as soon as we got back to BWV checked there. The CM Stacy went to a back room and not only deactivated her missing one and got a replacement, but she was able to find a purple one which was big deal then.

You can also look at decal vendors on Etsy, My Fantasy Bands or Magic My Band. You can do some fun stuff with those services. Exhibit A is the grey one, second in this box (although that Lightning McQueen decal would be cute on grey too!):

Second this. We rented DVC, and I forgot the Magic Bands at home. Guy at the front desk just asked which colors we wanted, went in the back, and found them for us.

Did Disney end up fixing this?
