So we are having a Jewish ceremony and chuppahs can be pretty pricey. Our ceremony site has these wood arbors that I was thinking about draping fabric around a part to create our chuppah rather than spending to have one put up. These are the pictures of the wood arbor at our ceremony site:

What do you think? Would fabric draped around the center one work? What type of fabric would you use? Should I just buy a bunch by the yard and have it wrapped around or would that look stupid?

Any opinions/advice would be appreciated--thanks!

Yeah I would do that!!!! It will look beautiful!

I think draping the middle one with fabric would look cool! I think it will be nice to have a unique aspect to your wedding as well.

If I were you Id do a lot of research online to see what type of fabric people use for those, cuz I have no idea what people use.

I am sure it would be cheapest to buy a bunch of fabric from a fabric sotre. Just add a little hem to the ends to make it look nice and I am sure it will turn out beautiful!

Maybe add something cute to the corners that would work as ties to tie it around the beams - ribbon? You could also have the 4 supports that make up that center section wrapped to match if you wanted. I think it'd be really cute.
