My beloved goddaughter has her first ever lead in her school play this Friday and due to a family emergency I'm not going to be able to be there to see it. :guilty:

I wanted to send her some flowers to at least let her know I'm thinking of her and I'm proud of her.

She's 17 and her favorite color is purple. Which of these do you think is best?

Option #1 - Tulips (Are tulips boring?)

Option #2 - Bear Bouquet (I know it's not purple, but it's cute and she likes bears)

Option #3 - Violet Hatbox (Is a violet plant too old lady?)

Option #4 - Mixed Purple/Blue Flowers (too serious?)

Thanks!!!

I say go with #1, or #4. They're both very simple.

It's the thought that counts, and I would remember how special those were.

I hope your DGD does good in her play, and I salute you for trying to make it even more special.

Tulips. totally.

Or you could get a bouquet of 12 dozen purple roses for her to carry when she's going out for the final bow.

I loveee option 1. They look easy to carry too. On opening night sometimes you've got alot of stuff to carry.

#1.
I love tulips.
They're all around our house.

So yea, #1.

Sounds like the tulips win!

Thanks so much for the opinions--I really appreciate it.
