Okay, folks, before anyone calls me crazy...
Went to WDW in June and loved it. Bought a 5-day hopper though stayed for four days.
Well, luckily, my company has sent me back here on numerous business trips and my DH joined me two days ago. We're out by KSC (where I work) but after taking a day off today to go to Epcot, we're thinking of coming back Saturday to spend a day at DTD. Wanna hit Pleasure Island that night, but the idea of driving over an hour back to my apartment here doesn't appeal to me.
Noticed the crowds @ Epcot are very low today, so wondering if we can get away with not making reservations and walking in at last minute to one of DTD hotels or other hotel walkable to Pleasure Island to get a really cheap rate (tried that trick in Las Vegas and it works, but of course, Disney's different). Any quick advice would be appreciated since Sat's only a day away and I'm also staring at an Expedia rate of $67/night at Hotel Royal Plaza... would like to get something cheaper (i have AAA) but don't know if it's worth the risk.
