Here is my dilemma. :rotfl2: We'll be in Orlando for 7 days total. Arrival day and departure day are washes for theme parks. So that leave me with 5 days. Please help me decide where to go and what to do. I think i'm trying to do too much, and I realize that you can't see everything in one trip.... The kids are 14 and 10. Here is my sample itinerary:
day 1 - arrival day
day 2 - MK
day 3 - AK
day 4 - free day
day 5 - sea world
day 6 - MGM
day 7 - departure day

Now i'm worried that we don't have a water park crammed in there somewhere... help! :confused3

When are you travelling and where are you staying? We never miss squeezing in a waterpark for at least an afternoon. Would you be able to hit a waterpark on your arrival day? Typhoon Lagoon is amazing!

We are traveling from March 25 - April 1st staying at the TerraVerde vacation homes resort, it's about 15 minutes from Disney. Arrival day is really a wash cause there are 3 families arriving at all different times and we have to meet them at the airport, get groceries for the week ect...I'm thinking that we can use on of the free days to do a water park if it's hot... Have you been to the Sport Complex?

Need some more info for obsessed planners like me;)

Where are you staying?
Assuming you have 1park/day tickets..?
When are you going?
Do you have a rental car?

I'm concerned that Epcot isn't in your plans :teeth:

:sunny:

Hi,
My travel dates and resort are posted above... We are going to purchase your basic ticket (no hopper) We do have a rental car reserved through our travel agent to pick up at the airport. Do you think we'd enjoy Epcot? For some reason it doesn't do a thing for me...

Do you have park hopper tickets?

Day 2 - from your dates, it looks like MK is open until 10 or 11pm, so you can get in a full day there.

Day 3 - AK can be a half- day park, if not, it closes at 6pm usually, so that still leaves you with plenty of evening/night time. I would split day 3 between AK and Epcot or Downtown Disney.

Day 4 - even if you do a water park on day 4, the water parks also close at 5pm, again, leaving you with plenty of night time. We have never had the energy to stay at the water park the full day, we usually get there at opening and leave by 2 or so, take a shower/nap, and get back out to the parks by 5 or 6pm.

Depending on your group, both MK and Epcot can be 2 day parks.

Good luck!

Michael

Hi
I wasn't going to get the park hopper... but haven't quite decided yet~ On Day 3, i'm trying to get basball tickets for my son. Game starts at 7:05. Would you suggest going to a disney water part or is something off site ok?

Are your kids into video stuff cause they would probably really like Disney Quest @DTD
