Ok, so we're probably going to get the Dining Plan. So for dinner on the night we go to the Magic Kingdom (assuming it's an EMH evening), what do you guys suggest?

The restaurants are:
Cinderella's Royal Table
Crystal Palace
Liberty Tree Tavern
Tony Town Square Restaurant

If we eat at either the Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern we'll have to use up two table service thingies (one for me and one for him), but there is a chance if we eat at one of the other two, we can just split the meal (especially at CRT with that Prime Rib).

What do you guys have to say?

I love the lunch at Liberty Tree tavern. In fact, that's one of my favorites in WDW! I have never been there for the character buffet dinner, but the lunch is ala carte and WONDERFUL. The theming is great, too. Highly recommend.

I'm not crazy about Tony's. It's expensive and so hectic and LOUD, and the food is just "fine."

I love the theming of Cinderella's table, and the food if adequate. Better than "fine." I love the whole experience, though. The hotel where we're getting married this fall looks JUST like the interior of CRT and I think that's why the little girl inside me chose the site!

We love the Crystal Palace food! The CP's food is incredible, I thought, as was the dessert area. My ribs hurt after I left from eating so much (not typical for me!)

Liberty tree is nice, fun and quiet, but when we were there 3 years ago the food tasted right out of a stouffer's box. Not awful, but you wish for better.

Left Tony's once because the server forgot we were there, never got past being seated.

CRT did for my 33'rd birthday two years ago, it was rushed and the food was cold and mushy and the server never brought the birthday cake my husband had ordered ahead of time and then reminded the hostess about. We wouldn't do it again.

Love Cosmic Ray's for counter service-those burgers are the best, and you're totally full afterward and you can hang out and chill in the restaurant for as long as you want. Might be a good alternative if you want to stretch out the dollars...

Pretty much agree with above posts. We love Crystal Palace. Have had both lunch and dinner there and never disappointed. Food is very good, character interaction is good as well. Did lunch at Liberty Tavern. Once again, good food, good service. Dinner at Tony's was terrible. Don't recommend at all. Dinner at CRT is okay. Worth doing at least once. I thought the food was just okay and a bit overpriced for the quality.

::MickeyMo We love LTT and Tony's (despite negative reviews). We'll be trying the CRT, Crytal Palace, and Plaza for the first time in...*yay* 13 days! Believe it or not, we've never had a negative dining experience anywhere on property (knock on wood). ::MinnieMo

Well I guess it's up to what my boyfriend will want. I kinda wanna do a character meal, but I'm not sure if he will or not. But it might come down to it though, if you think about it. I hear getting PS at CRT is DIFFICULT! So he might have to suffer. But we'll work it out... again thanks everyone for the help!
