Um just a question for veteran HHN people. When I was little I had a very bad haunted house experience so I have been avoiding the whole thing. I get startled and scared very easy. I am almost 15. Should I go or by pass the whole thing?
Thanks

It is very scary. If you don't like haunted houses and sudden scares, I doubt you'll enjoy HHN.

I personally love it but I enjoy that type of thing.

I've got to second this. Unless you like to be scared (doesn't sound like you do) .. you won't enjoy Halloween Horror Nights.

We'll see how I enjoy it tonight if I manage to attend, late trains etc are cursing me.

I agree, you should either wait or just never go. This year is a very mature theme and is aimed more at mature adults. You are old enough to go, but why would you want to pay almost $60 ( even more if you got express passes ) to have a bad time?

HHN is not the place to try to ease yourself back into the whole haunted house thing. It's very scary IMO and there really isn't any "safe" area within the park...there are scareactors everywhere (at least it seemed like I was getting scared everywhere I went).

Have you been to Skull Kingdom? I haven't been there in several years but my experience when I did was sort of like a mild taste of an HHN experience. Perhaps you would want to try that first and see how you do. I know the admission is cheaper and they have "escapes" throughout the building where you can bail if you can't take anymore (one woman traveling with us last time did this because she was too scared). Definitely would be a much wiser place to test the waters.
