Maybe some of you can help us out on this "tricky" question?

We will go to DLRP next week and booked our rooms at the cheyenne already via Disney?

Anyways it turned out the, unfortunately :lmao: , we have to go there again for 2 or three nights in december.

As far as I know if you buy an annual pass they deduct the price of the ticket of the actual day of buying the annual pass. And is the price reduction on meals valid immediately? AND is the price reduction on meals only valid for the person named an the annual pass or valid for the whole party I am dining with?

However as for as our tickets are included in the room rate and I would like to know if it makes any sense to buy an annual pass now?

Thanks for your help.

Do some of you know how crowd levels are at the moment?

Thanks and "have a magical day":lovestruc

Hi,

Whether you think its worth buying your annual passes on this trip, is really going to be down to you crunching the numbers.

One dream annual pass gives you and all members of your party the restaurant and shopping discounts from the very minute you buy it. It also allows you to book up to 2 rooms at a time at a Disney onsite hotel for your future trips with discount of at least 10%, and up to 30%.

As you have booked a hotel/tickets package this time through Disney, if you choose to buy your annual passes on this trip, you will get no discount for having tickets already, as your package-inclusive tickets have no monetary value.

I bought our annual passes on the first day of a package holiday, like yours. As I got one dream pass and one free for DD, then went back to an onsite hotel in November, and am going again in June, I feel it was definitely worth me buying my passes when I did (it gave me onsite hotel room discount for my November trip, plus paid for itself within those first 2 trips in shopping and eating discounts - seriously :goodvibes ).

Now, get crunching those numbers :surfweb: !

We did the number crunching last Easter when we had bought a package and then decided we were going to get annual passes and for us it woudlnt have been worth getting even one AP as the amount we would have had to spend to break even was too much (we dont tend to buy an awful lot of souvenirs etc but do spend on food)

The other thing you need to consider is if you buy the pass next week it will run out next April and if you are not going again til december its a lot of months wasted whereas if you buy it in December it wont run out til the following Dec so you may be able to fit in a few trips in between.

Do the number crunching yourself and see if its worth buying now.

To add another thought process :confused3 you could also buy Francillien passes this time (they can't be used on 2nd and third days after purchase) but this won't affect you this time as you'll have your package tickets and you'll have the AP's for the DEC trip (as long as it's not blackout days when you intend travelling). If you have children under 7 this would allow you to take advantage of the free children's pass (offer is due to expire in NOV currently).

Upside is Francillien passes are much cheaper (89€) but you downside is you don't get any discounts with them

disney angel does the free childrens pass run out in nov or dose anyone know??
