help!!!no adrs avail for Nov 20-23

I knew it would be tough planning a last minute trip, but I though I could book at least one character meal, but NOTHING is available! Do people really ever cancel? Should we cancel? I have 2 boys (2&5) and no character meals for them is a real bummer! Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Did you try Tusker House, Ohana's, or Cape May Cafe for breakfast? You may need to be pretty flexible with your times.

Thought I would see if anything pulled up on the online dinning reservation site and found Donald's Safari Breakfast, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, Hollywood and Vine and a few others at multiple times for the time you said you would be there. I put in a party of 4. (2 adults/ 2 children) If you haven't tried the online reservation system I would take a look at it. Also the times I looked at were around 10am for breakfast and a few around lunch time. Hope this helps!

the adr system is flawed change your party size it may open up availability

As others suggested, go on line. And if you're searching for a party of 3, try party of 4. If it's a large party size, try splitting your group. There's breakfast & lunch availability for family of 4 on Friday & Saturday of your dates at Crystal Palace--that's all the Winnie the Pooh characters. Didn't look on Sunday, could have been some then too.

Also saw availability for breakfast at Hollywood & Vine in the Studios, and Cape May Cafe breakfast at Beach Club (by Epcot)

Those are all character meals...also had Akershus come up, but that's only if you're interested in princesses.

Now if you were trying just for Chef Mickeys, that's booked.

Ditto all the above ..... and if you still don't get it, keep trying. People change their minds, cancel etc all the time. It is just a case of being ready to call/check online around the time that some open up...! It isn't as bad as it sounds. Be persistent. Even if you don't get all the ones you want, you will at least get some.

Especially good advice from eva about being flexible with times. Now GO FOR IT!

Thanks, everyone! We decided to switch our dates figuring if dining is so booked so will the parks! So we're going Nov 17-22 and booked Donald's Breakfast at Ak, HDD, Garden Grill (a favorite), and Boma. Thanks again.

I'm glad you could change; but, I wouldn't have cancelled just because character meals weren't available! There are plenty of other opportunities to meet and greet their favorites for FREE. Camp Minnie/Mickey at Animal Kingdom... the area in Epcot outside "The Land".
