We've got a DS11 and DD9 - and I own at SSR and AKV. We added on at AKV because I love knowing we can get a one-bedroom that will have separate beds for DS and DD. Now that they are older, they are getting too big to share a bed - and I am just not a fan of bringing a blow-up mattress on vacation. AKV appeals because it is the only way we can stay in a one-bedroom without anyone on the floor.

I think you'll be very happy to own there!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I'm so happy to see your post. I made a HUGE mistake.

I have three kids and bought 160 points at the SSR and now I'm regretting it because we won't fit in one of their studios. I bought my DVC over the phone. Now I wish I bought at AKL because 5 can fit in thier studio. AUGH!! I just received my paperwork today....what do I do now??

If you haven't signed the paperwork, then I believe that you can back out. You may also have a few days after you signed the paperwork. I think that I had 3 days after I signed but I could be wrong.

I am not sure if a studio will sleep 5 at AKV. I know that most 1 BRs do, but I am not sure on the studios.

You can only fit five in an AKV one bedroom - no studios can sleep five unless one is an infant in the pack-n-play

That is one of the reasons that we bought AKV too. But, since this trip we are going to be using the developer points at SSR I reserved a 2 bedroom for 6 nights with 200 points. Next year I am sure we will want to go to AKV and will try the one bedroom for a longer stay.
