Hi all,
I have never flight before. I don't have a clue what I am looking at on southwest , American airlines and local airport website.

I can go out Chattanooga Airport or Atlanta Harts field Jackson. I can catch the greyhound bus for free get to Atlanta airport.

I can't tell if round trip or one way. If is round trip have do book to fly back.

I would like go out of Orlando, Florida or Miami Airport. I am going on a cruise labor day weekend.

Both Southwest and American have selection buttons on their search that allow you to choose Round Trip or One-Way, when you put in your dates and airports. So, you put in the date you want to leave, the date you want to return, which airports you want to fly out of and into, make sure round-trip is selected, and then click the search button.

When buying a round trip ticket, you will pick two different segments of flights on two different subsequent pages - one that will take you on your way to your destination, and one that will take you on your way back. If you purchase a round trip ticket, you don't have to get a second ticket - both directions of your trip will be booked.

I can't recommend which airports you should use. If I were you, I would search Chattanooga to Orlando and to Miami, and then search Atlanta to Orlando and to Miami, and see which combination gives you the best price and most desirable flight schedule. Don't forget to take into account transportation to/from the airports! Also, make sure to look at baggage fees on American Airlines if you intend to check a bag - Southwest doesn't charge for that. (EDIT: If your cruise is out of Miami, flying into Orlando isn't a great option, because it's actually pretty far away from Miami!)

well first you need to decide what cruise you want to take before booking a flight. If you cruise out of Miami you don't want to fly in to Orlando it's a 4 hour drive on a good day.

I would drive to Orlando that easy and doable from Chattanooga,Tn. I am leading towards going out Orlando, Fl than Miami, Fl

Thank You Thank You:love1::worship::worship::worship: That total makes sense now.

So you are cruising out of Cape Canaveral which means you will need to book at flight to Orlando

I'm a neighbor (Signal Mountain). You likely do not want to fly out of here. We never do. We have tried Algient 1 time and it was not a great experience. Plus, the only fly out 1 day each week and the flight is an awful time out of Sandord (6 AM) And by the time you pay for all the add ons that you need to just fly with them, you are better off on Southwest.

And forget any of the Delta or US AIR flights out of here. They cancel or delay every other flight. It's not worth the headache/worry.

Drive 2 hours to Atlanta.
Use Peach Parking to park 5 m in from the airport.
We typically pay about $50 for 6-7 days of parking.

We've been getting flights to MCO for $49 each way on Southwest. We can't drive to Orlando for that rate.

One way or another you would have to get from an airport in Florida to the Port of Canaveral which means hiring a car.

.......... Another idea would be to use your own car to drive down to Port Canaveral.

This would save you the hassle of dragging luggage several times through airports and still putting them into a car.

This would mean a couple of extra days vacation but maybe worth it to see new parts of Florida on the drive.

Yes you would have to leave your car in Port Canaveral but that does not cost a lot .

Think about it anyway.

I disagree very limated flights go in and out of that airport that is why I use Mco

But there are flights available. Any flight out of Melbourne will probably go through Atlanta or Charlotte. So, it wouldn't be bad idea to check flights into MLB.
