Help.... Needing Spa Ideas....

Hello,

We are traveling to WDW in January with my parents, wife's parents and our three children. I would like to surprise my wife, mother and mother-in-law with a few hours at a spa. It will be the first time for my mother and mother-in-law, so I'm looking for suggestions. I was thinking a facial, massage and possible manicure.

Help from anyone on which spas are great, I was thinking the Grand Floridian. Any ideas on what any of you would suggest.

I figure the guys will take the kids for a few hours and send the ladies off for some fun, but want to make it fun for them also.

I also thought about giving them a certificate or something and tell them they had to pick what they wanted. But knowing all three, they won't know what to pick, and would probably cause more anxiety then needed on a vacation.

I actually did one of the packages last time. It included:

60 min keriotherapy massage (basically a good full body massage)
30 min foot reflexology massage (the BEST!)
90 min vitamin C facial with eye contour
Basic manicure.
"Light" lunch

This was considered a full day programme (and I had no breaks for 4 hours, but I planned it that way you could add breaks)

Be warned though, the "whole day" cost me close to $350 after taxes & tips.

What a nice guy you are! The spa at the Grand Floridian is great, have used their services while DH golfed for the last 4 trips. Are the ladies in your life comfortable w/massages/other body therapies? If not, maybe just do the spa manicure and pedicure. They also have mini-massages (neck & shoulder, scalp, foot & leg I think). Anybody with a spa appointment may also use the whirlpool. I f you're ataying on property, call your resort & request a copy of the spa menu. You could probably also get one directly from the spa. This site has a list of Disney numbers:

PS - I'm a fellow Illinoisan. I'm one of those cityfolks, but I love southern IL, near Garden of the Gods, etc.
