Help Needed With Virgin Airmiles??

Hi all,

I am looking at going to florida again next year, we have about 75000 airmiles each.
does anyone know what i have to do to book a flight and also interested in how much you pay for upgrades to upper class, can i find this information on the virgin site?
sorry to sound dumb, but never used my miles before.

You can book Reward flights online (but not Companion flights or Upgrades). In any event, we find its easier to ring because we usually have questions about something or another. The Flying Club staff are very helpful.

75000 gets you a return trip to MCO in Premium Economy. You can buy extra miles to get to amount needed for Upper Class amount.

Word of warning, miles only to MCO are few and far between especially in Upper so I would check availability as soon as you can. Sometimes they release more near the date of flight, but MCO route is always busy so it is difficult to get miles only seats.

You can search via Virgin's website, but when you want to book always phone and ask to speak to someone in UK. I had to book 2 miles only fares, I with my miles and 1 with my husbands and the website only lets you do one at a time which means you could book yours and then find no availability for husband. Also found that searching via website allocates a seat and the person at Virgin had to release the seat looked at by me only, phone me back and then do booking with me and husband just letting them know that it was OK with him.
