So, my brother is headed to WDW with his wife and two kids and our parents. He has always been anti Disney if y'all can believe it!!

My brother has expressed being bummed that more of the family can't go due to the time of year and work.

Well, I'm going!! And I am not telling anyone. I'm just going to show up. I'm having trouble with the surprise part. Here is the only idea I have. Let me know what you think of it or give me ideas!!

I arrive two days into his trip. I thought about asking for selfies periodically from the beginning of his trip .Kind of like since I can't be there, let me see....and then when he does it on the day I arrive, I'll do it again and go to where he is. The problem with this plan is...he could be anywhere and it would take me time to get to him .or he could not respond.

Help me out!!

That is a tough one. I think you might have a better chance asking him his plans- sound real interested and want to give your input - like what FP he is doing at what times and then with that info you can stake out near the ride he is suppose to be going to and surprise him. Other than that it will be real tough to think that he will do selfies and actually send them to you when he is actually there at that moment.

Anyway you can enlist his wife to help with the surprise? That would be the easiest thing to do because she could just text you exactly where they will be and you could just bump into them

If you are Friends and Family you should be able to see his FP+ so that could box in an hour for you. :magnify: Same for if they have an ADR.

First thought:
Let the most trustworthy one in on your secret (the wife, one of your parents.)
That way you have an inside agent on the case to let you know exactly where they are.

I agree with telling one person and coordinating with them. See if you can time it for when they are taking photos with a photopass person and then you can get it all on film!
