Help needed: son's homework

Does anyone know which way the earth spins: anti clockwise or clockwise? I have tried a search but haven't managed to get the answer so far!

The Earth if looking form the North Pole does turn anti (otherwise known as counter) clockwise.
Does this help to explain it??
Found a really good page recently on rotation and the jet stream and put it up on the DIBB due to a question being asked about flight times. As the DIBB is down can't find it and the above is the best I could find.
