Help needed - PrincessKsMom

I have also posted the following thread on the Tech Support board, hoping to receive some assistance.

I have tried for two weeks to get someone at DIS to help me, but to no avail. My original name is PrincessKsMom and I have been unable to log onto the system, change my password, or post anything for two weeks. I have contacted Tech Support numerous times, as well as including Webmaster Kathy on my last email asking for assistance. On the rare occasion I am able to log onto Disboards, I am immediately booted off while trying to change my password or post anything. I have been assured by Tech Support that I am not banned, and I have never received any indication that I am, so I cannot understand what the problem might be. I even tried creating a new account from my computer at home, but the DISboards seems to have recognized my computer and locked me out again. If I am banned, for whatever reason, a simple indication of such would be much appreciated and I'll move along. If that's not the case, then I would really appreciate some assistance. I would like to remain PrincessKsMom and keep my tags, etc.

I will see if I can get someone to help you. Have you tried deleting your cookies on your computer? It is sounding like your computer may be having a problem.

That's what Tech suggested. I did so, twice. Also, it's not only my home computer, but my office computer as well. I've even tried to log on as PrincessKsMom from other people's computers. Seems like it's something attached to that name and my home computer, because I'm not even allowed to create new accounts from my home computer.

Anything you can do would be very much appreciated!

I don't see any indication that you are banned so that is definitely not an issue. I know that my DW was having similar trouble remaining logged on past the "welcome" screen that pops up once you sign in. Dumping her cookies didn't help but when she also deleted out her temporary internet files on the computer she was using, and made sure to check the "remember me" box when she logged in, she was able to remind signed in.

Just for the heck of it, try deleting your temporary internet files and making sure you check the "remember me" box on the computer you are using to see if that helps. If not, feel free to PM me. I'm not sure what's going on but maybe I can find someone to help me get to the bottom of it.
