Help needed pls

Hi all,

Just come across this site & wondered if anyone could help me?

We are wanting to go to Disney paris at the begining of march for 3nights 4 days, travelling via eurostar We are a family of 6 (2 adults & 4 children aged 9,6,2 & 15mths) please can anyone help us to find a suitable disney hotel at the cheapest possible price.
Oh we need just 1 cot don't mind if 1 infant sleeps with us if that is .allowed

I wasn't sure how you'd fare with Disney rooms and 4 children, so just checked the website and you won't all be able to stay in a Standard Room, maximum is 5 including 1 infant.
There are family rooms available at the Newport Bay Club, Disneyland Hotel and I think at the New York, but I'm not sure what the room occupancy maximum is there, I'm thinking that it's 5 and an infant, so it might be an option or you could book 2 standard rooms at 1 of the budget hotels - Santa Fe or Cheyenne, it won't let me try that option online, so I'm guessing you have to phone, but with current offers available it might be cheaper to book 2connecting rooms than a family one.
Or you could try the Explorers Hotel, not technically Disney, it's one of the associated hotels but has a free shuttle bus, journey about 15 mins - they cater for all family sizes and lots of DISers have stayed they and come back with good reviews.
On the plus side there are lots of offers in March, Kids under 12 Go Free, Free night & Day offer (from the 5th) and the % discount they're offering for bookings before 31st Jan. Best bet would be to ring them and see what the best deal is they can offer, whenever I've rung they're always extremely helpful.
Don't know about the transport option through Disney itself, I think most people find it cheaper to arrange their own transport, whether it's Eurostar, flights or ferry/tunnel.
Hope you're able to arrange something I'm sure the family will love it.

Can't seem to do it through disneylandparis.co.uk (my first point of reference, because I don't like talking on the phone- step up DBF). Try calling 08448 008 898.
If you look at the special offers page on the Disney site, it comes up with a Kids under 12 stay, play and travel free between Jan 4th and April 2nd 2009. Going on the fact yours are all under 12, then a two adult stay at Santa Fe from 1st March plus Eurostar is coming up as £621 without insurance.
Very ballpark as it doesn't include meal vouchers or any extras you'd need for the 6 of you.
Hope this isn't completely useless.

Forgot to mention the Davy Crockett Ranch. That caters for your family size but you do need your own transport, if you can't or don't want to drive, would Eurostar and a Hire Car be an option. I'm pretty sure there's a Hertz Car Hire Centre somewhere around by the train/coach station - could be something worth pricing up.
Although I haven't stayed at DCR, would love to but won't drive, there are many fans of the ranch on here.

I'd agree with the others, phone the Disney booking line and see what they can offer you for your party size. Then compare that with staying at the Explorers and buying your park tickets separately. The Explorers is on the Benotel website, and Expedia, as well as others. For park tickets, you could check 365tickets, attractiontix, etc.

As you're intending going for 4 days, you might also find that, instead of parkt tickets for the duration of your stay, you may be cheaper buying annual passes when you get to DLRP. You can get lots of information about annual passes here -

When we went in 2005, we had interconnecting rooms at the Santa Fe. It was great to have all that space!

Hello.

The Thomas Cook Explorers Hotel (offsite 3*) will sleep up to 6. 2 double beds then a little area in the same room with 1 set of bunk beds. No onsite hotels sleep 6 I'm afraid. However the TCE is lovely and only a really short free shuttle ride from the Parks.

The Davy Crockett is also great, has 1 or 2 bed room cabins. Only stay here if you have a car with you as there is no shuttle service.

I definitely wouldnt recommend you book 2 rooms with an interconnecting request. Disneyland hotels will not "gaurentee" connecting rooms, at all... only a "request" which is addressed when you check in. You may get there and not have connecting rooms. If this would be a problem and spoil your holiday then just choose the Thomas Cook Explorers.

Go online Disneyland website, price your hotel and passes package (you get breakfast included too) then go on Eurostar online to book your seats seperately, dont book a package with travel on the Disneyland website you can usually get it much cheaper seperately.

Disney must provide 1 bed space for everybody in the room. They will not let you squeeze in a room by having kids sharing beds or having babies in beds with parents and not putting extra beds or cots in.

Whilst I would agree that Disney can't guarantee connecting rooms - I have had connecting rooms every time I've requested them. You can phone your onsite hotel directly (we have the numbers on the booking and contact info in the very useful information sticky on this board) and request connecting rooms. I have done this about 10 days before arrival, as Disney will usually have your booking details at the hotel itself by that time.
Each time I've phoned, the CM on the phone at the hotel has been very helpful, and each time, I've had the connecting rooms I've asked for.

Agree with DLPdaft, I've requested ajoining rooms twice and got them, even when we got the free upgrade at SL, we still had adjoining rooms and we were 2 seperate families. I really can't see them splitting up a family.
