Help needed: Airport Transportation...

Morning all....hope you're having a good day so far...
Anyway,
I'm flying into the Sanford Airport on Sept. 22nd and realize that there is no Mears shuttle to get mt to Pop Century.
Have any of you flown to this airport before?
What have you used for transportation?
Advice please...

We used Sanford on our recent June-July trip. Get on their webpage sanfordairport.com and then link to the ground transportation. There are many good options.
We splurged and did a stretch limo from Happy Limo to/from the ASmo. it was fantastic. even if you didn't want a stretch, Happy Limo is a good solid option and they have towncars as well.

The airport is a real hidden jewel. It was our first time using them (we flew TMA) and we were VERY impressed.

You mentioned MEARS , which is my least favorite service (shuttle) because it can take forever to get dropped off once you get on board.

The direct services (town car, limo, etc.) will get you to WDW in one hour or less. It was a smooth shot.

I know that Fl. Tours - the official transportation company of the DIS has added service to/from Sanford.

We flew TMA to Sanford in October and are doing so again in August. The airport is small but serves the purpose. It is about 30 minutes further away than the Orlando airport.
We got a van (coach USA) in October, around $40/person round trip to Universal. You can also get a towncar, around $150/round trip to universal, slightly more for disney. Mears does not pick up (shuttles) there, unless you get their towncar service. We used Happy Limo from the Orlando airport to Disney previously and are using them for our pickup from Sanford to Universal this trip. They seem to have the best rates and clean cars. I would recommend the towncars as they take you directly to your hotel and you don't have to worry about directions or traffic.
